We are seeking a Customer-Focused Inside Sales Representative with proven experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. You will play a key role in ensuring exceptional service and sales support to healthcare professionals and institutions across the UK and Ireland.

This role blends proactive customer service with sales support duties, ensuring clients receive a smooth, responsive, and knowledgeable experience. Working as part of a close-knit commercial team, you’ll support Territory Sales Managers, handle inbound enquiries, and contribute to outbound calling campaigns with a professional and service-driven approach.


Key Responsibilities

🛎️ Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Manage and respond to all customer enquiries promptly, professionally, and within agreed timescales

  • Deliver exceptional service standards tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals

  • Record and process orders, enquiries, and service requests using internal CRM systems

  • Book qualified appointments for Territory Sales Managers

  • Communicate clearly and empathetically via phone and email

  • Coordinate equipment installations and service updates with internal teams and clients

📞 Outbound Communication

  • Conduct outbound courtesy, follow-up, and survey calls as directed by Sales Leadership

  • Assist in collecting insights and feedback from existing clients to improve service delivery

  • Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities where appropriate

📊 Data & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, leads, and follow-up actions

  • Report on sales support activity and outcomes

  • Utilise the sales portal and CRM to manage workflow and customer pipeline

🤝 Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to support activity across your designated region

  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Contribute positively to team targets and commercial goals


Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical sales support/customer service role is essential
✅ Strong understanding of the NHS, private healthcare providers, or medical equipment market
✅ Outstanding communication skills — written and verbal
✅ Comfortable handling enquiries from clinical professionals and procurement teams
✅ Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and CRM systems

Role Overview

We are seeking a Customer-Focused Inside Sales Representative with proven experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. You will play a key role in ensuring exceptional service and sales support to healthcare professionals and institutions across the UK and Ireland.

This role blends proactive customer service with sales support duties, ensuring clients receive a smooth, responsive, and knowledgeable experience. Working as part of a close-knit commercial team, you’ll support Territory Sales Managers, handle inbound enquiries, and contribute to outbound calling campaigns with a professional and service-driven approach.


Key Responsibilities

🛎️ Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Manage and respond to all customer enquiries promptly, professionally, and within agreed timescales

  • Deliver exceptional service standards tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals

  • Record and process orders, enquiries, and service requests using internal CRM systems

  • Book qualified appointments for Territory Sales Managers

  • Communicate clearly and empathetically via phone and email

  • Coordinate equipment installations and service updates with internal teams and clients

📞 Outbound Communication

  • Conduct outbound courtesy, follow-up, and survey calls as directed by Sales Leadership

  • Assist in collecting insights and feedback from existing clients to improve service delivery

  • Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities where appropriate

📊 Data & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, leads, and follow-up actions

  • Report on sales support activity and outcomes

  • Utilise the sales portal and CRM to manage workflow and customer pipeline

🤝 Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to support activity across your designated region

  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Contribute positively to team targets and commercial goals


Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical sales support/customer service role is essential
✅ Strong understanding of the NHS, private healthcare providers, or medical equipment market
✅ Outstanding communication skills — written and verbal
✅ Comfortable handling enquiries from clinical professionals and procurement teams
✅ Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and CRM systems
✅ Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail

  • As an Inside Sales Representative you will apply your skills in social networking and business communications to generate leads, nurture relationships, and close deals.
  • Dealing with sales enquiries and opportunities for a designated portfolio of customers based within Secondary Care
  • Consistently meeting personal objectives and delivering individual and team periodic / quarterly / yearly sales targets
  • You will also be taking care of every aspect of the customer service, both via phone and email

  • The successful individual will be accountable for a defined sales territory within UK & Ireland with clear goals and a great deal of flexibility in how you approach this task

RESPONSIBILITIES Dealing with Sales Enquiries:
  • Ensure all customer enquiries are responded to within agreed timescale
  • Delivering the appropriate service level for all customers

Teamwork:
  • Work with and support internal colleagues to ensure team sales targets are met and projects are delivered, accurately and on time
  • Working closely with the field based Territory Sales Managers within your designated geographical areas
Skills and Knowledge Required:
