JOB: Operations and Finance Manager / Associate

Role:

  • Supporting the Directors, this is a new role to the business which has been created as the group of Care Homes expands
  • This is a wide reaching role covering multiple areas of the business
  • This an office based role with working hours of 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
  • The role offered is based on an individuals level of experience and may be offered at Manager or Associate Level

Responsibilities

  • This role covers elements within the following areas: Finance, Purchasing, Estate Management, HR, People Management, Marketing, Social Media ,Compliance

Duties

  • Meet company objectives and targets through effective leadership, direction, management and motivation in the designated areas of the operation.
  • Manage relationships with a range of stakeholders, both clinical and operational
  • Responsible for ensuring and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of key developments, which may improve care and enhance overall service delivery
  • Ensure that adequate measures are taken to protect the health and safety of all customers and staff including the maintenance and upkeep of a safe and homely environment
  • Continue to build positive customer relationships, applying a proactive approach to understanding customer needs, developing effective partnership working through joint initiatives and utilisation of available resources, then delivering continuous service improvement as a result
  • Effectively manage risk to ensure compliance with standards and customer safety at all times
  • Support colleagues within the homes to develop the knowledge and expertise required to deliver care in accordance with best practice advice & guidance and to ensure effective service delivery
  • Establish and maintain effective methods of communication with all stakeholders
  • Manage complaints and concerns appropriately and effectively in accordance with Company Policy
  • Ensure that effective measures are taken to adequately protect the safety and welfare of residents, visitors and staff
  • Maintain an awareness of changes in the care environment
  • Work with all stakeholders to continually improve relationships and service provision
  • Promote, share and sustain best practice business methods at all times
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement agreed innovations and technological advances where appropriate
  • Ensure care home staff members are fully compliant with regulatory policies and procedure
  • Establish collaborative working relationships with relevant professional bodies
  • Monitor budgetary performance and advice on corrective actions
  • Attend staff meetings and attend training sessions when requested
  • Act as an ambassador for the businesses and always demonstrate integrity
  • Any other reasonable duties relating to Operational Management, which may be requested
  • Make a positive contribution to the business in terms of profit, development, growth and market position

 

YOU ARE LIKELY TO:

  • Have a background in the care sector,  healthcare or pharmaceuticals
  • Be Professional, highly motivated and keen to exceed the expectations of customers
  • Be able to communicate effectively with customers with differing needs, influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
  • All applicants MUST be eligible to work in the UK
