ROLE:

  • Your remit is working across the full portfolio to develop and deliver profitable, competitive commercial solutions, develop meaningful business propositions for Medicines Management and Procurement
  • You will identify solutions for Customers, deliver value propositions and facilitate change that benefits both Patients and the business
  • As field based Partnership Development Manager, you will work cross functionally with the Regional Sales Manager and sales team who have responsibility for both Community and Secondary Care pull through. There are also Clinical Support Specialists who undertake the Customer training & education

 

CUSTOMERS:

  • You will have accountability to develop your business and will engage with senior level stakeholders within both the Primary and Secondary Care sector
  • They include, but are not limited to:
    • Strategic Level: ICSs, CSUs, PCNs, CCGs, LATs, Clinical Senates, Acute and Foundation Trusts, AHSN Networks
    • Local Level: Lead Regional Procurement Members, Committee members, non-medical Prescribing Leads, Nursing Officers, Tissue Viability Nurse Managers, Tissue Viability Nurses, Quality & Assurance Leads, Patient Safety etc

 

MAIN ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Required to drive the effective business planning and key account management to ensure sales and market share targets are met
  • You will be responsible for shaping the NHS environment for forthcoming product launches, existing products, and formulary acceleration through leading and implementing high level account management principles
  • You will develop and maintain both strategic and operational relationships with influential NHS Customers to accelerate your influence and grow revenue
  • Working alongside the regional team to develop a local market access strategy, sharing field insights/best practice into the region and feeding into Head Office
  • Leading the key account planning process for the region and creating a favourable environment for positive adoption and pull through of formularies/ guidelines
  • Position the organisation regionally as “Partner of Choice” and utilise your offering to develop strong relationships with a tailored offering for senior NHS stakeholders to increase access within target accounts ultimately resulting in formulary inclusion
  • Development and utilisation of Regional / National product advocates
  • Identify and implement projects within the region centred around NHS Work streams, Quality, Efficiencies, and CCG / LAT needs that will lead to increased access and revenue

 

ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Track-record of delivering and driving results
  • Successful key account management background (or business development) gained ideally within Wound Care – although this is not essential
  • Proven budgeting and targeting experience
  • High level of knowledge of the current NHS structure, potential organisational changes and business methods
  • Working knowledge of the tendering, contracts and procurement process
  • Working knowledge of Hospital/Secondary Care and Community business environment
  • Ability to handle complex and multi-variable negotiations and influence a cross functional team
  • Working knowledge of NHS documents such as Five Year Forward
  • Excellent networking, communication and influencing skills, with a track record of success
  • You will be a target driven, tenacious, self-starter able to think outside of the box

 

N.B. This particular client are not adverse to applications from individuals who are looking to “step up”/develop your career into a Healthcare Partnership Manager role, if you have the skill set listed above i.e.  current experience as a Territory Manager etc

  • Be educated to a Degree level or equivalent
  • Proven ability to assimilate and simplify both clinical and economic information and data
  • Ability to think strategically when considering commercial offerings
