JOB: MEDICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

TERRITORY: EAST MIDLANDS & EAST ANGLIA 

THERAPY AREA: Patient Safety, Healthcare, Equipment, Care of the Elderly

ROLE:

  • Ideally you will be located in the central area of the territory based on the expanse of the geography
  • Employed on a headcount basis following completion of 6 month probation period

MAIN ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As Territory Manager, you will be calling on key customers in the acute setting selling your product portfolio. Customers will include:  Directors of Nursing, Ward Managers, Nursing Staff, Estates, Quality Assurance within Secondary Care environment
  • You will have total ownership for the sales in your area – working in a key account management approach you will be driving sales of your product portfolio
  • Working with customers to add value and increase awareness of brands via 1:1, group meetings , exhibitions and education
  • Management of own diary and time to maximise business outcomes
  • Management of CRM system to ensure sequential selling and capture all relevant customer information

YOU ARE LIKELY TO BE:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence with a max 6 points
  • Have experience selling within the secondary care/hospital environment
  • Able to plan and prioritise your workload based on business potential, optimising sales potential
  • Flexible in your approach to work and act on any business opportunity
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers with differing needs, influencing and negotiating appropriately.
  • Able to learn and communicate product information effectively
  • Professional, highly motivated and keen to exceed the expectations of customers
  • Able to demonstrate evidence of sales success and be able to produce this during an interview process (Brag File)
  • Educated to a minimum of GCSE standard
  • Located along the M62 corridor
